A Down-to-Earth Professional
Did you know that I have an ongoing love affair with Tim Tams and cups of tea? That has absolutely nothing to do with wedding photography, so let me tell you a little about that instead…
My first gig came when a mate, who knew I was a commercial photographer, asked if I could shoot his wedding. It was a true honour, but secretly, I think he just wanted to save a bit of cash.
Still, being a professional and a genuine friend, I did the best job I could. It turned out better than anyone expected and I had much more fun than I had any right to.
Word got out and soon I was doing strangers' weddings with the same personal touch, sense of warm fun, and better pay than a high five with some free champagne.
The results are something unique that captures the character of your wedding, celebrating exactly what the day meant to everyone there.
It’s my job to make sure your day is totally stress free, so you can relax, be yourself and enjoy an unforgettable celebration.

My Philosophy
I started out by falling in love with the mountains in Scandinavia and Austria. I wanted to document the stories with friends hiking and being outdoors. This led me to discover my passion for documenting people, and the stories within.
I work with people capturing love on the biggest day of their lives. It's indescribable how special it is. I get to witness the beginning of what is to unfold forever.

I love travel and am drawn to different cultures and embracing the weird nuances within them. This inspires me to create, search, shoot and be around people who are not afraid to live life a little differently on their own terms.
I get lost in the flow of photography which gives me peace and a sense of calm.

We knew from the moment we met Josh at my brother's wedding that he was the right photographer for us. Josh has the perfect blend of professionalism and calmness - he's just a top bloke! Josh made two very awkward individuals (when around a camera) feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. Our sneak peek photos were absolutely stunning, timeless and really captured the emotions of the day. We were lucky enough to have Josh capture our Wedding Day in December 2024 last year. Anae and I can’t speak highly enough of how comfortable Josh made us feel throughout the day, he was easy going and professional. What I liked most about how Josh photographed us on the day, was the way he took control behind the camera. Posing doesn’t come naturally to Anae and I but Josh was there to support us, and hold our hand through it all!
